In the real estate business, the real estate brokerage commission depends on any factors or not? Thanks for advice.
Article 65 of the Law on Real Estate Business 2014 stipulates on real estate brokerage commission, according to which:
1. The real estate brokerage service providers shall receive brokerage commission when their clients sign agreements on real estate sale, transfer, lease, sublease or lease purchase.
2. The real estate brokerage commission shall be agreed by contracting parties.
As a rule, the real estate brokerage commission is agreed by contracting parties and it is not dependent or limited by any factors. The parties are free to agree on the appropriate amount of commission in Vietnam.
