According to the current law in Vietnam, is it mandatory to present my ID card in case of going to authenticate a resume in the commune? Hope to get a reply soon.

    • Do I have to show my ID card when I go to authenticate my resume at the commune in Vietnam?

      Clause 1, Article 24 of Decree 23/2015/ND-CP, which stipulates:

      1. Requesters for authentication of signatures must present the following papers, documents:

      a) Originals or certified true copies of valid ID card or passport;

      b) Papers and documents signed by themselves;

      Thus, according to the above regulations in Vietnam, when carrying out the procedure for certifying true copies of resumes at the commune-level People's Committees, it is mandatory to present identification documents (valid ID card or passport).

      Best Regards!
