Time for picking up and dropping off children at preschools in Vietnam

Pursuant to Article 16 of the preschool charter issued together with the Circular 52/2020/TT-BGDDT stipulating implementation of educational programs and development of educational plans in Vietnam as follows:

1. Preschools shall implement the preschool education program promulgated by the Minister of Education and Training.

2. Preschools shall reply on the educational program for preschools promulgated by the Minister of Education and Training to develop their own educational programs and organize their activities of nurturing, caring, and educating children; develop educational programs for preschools consistent with the culture, condition of the locality, the preschool, and the ability and demand of children.

3. Preschools shall implement the plan of nurturing, caring, and educating children with disabilities who are attending inclusive education programs suitable for the ability of each individual and in accordance with regulations on inclusive education programs for children with disabilities.

As regulations above, preschools in Vietnam shall develop their own educational programs and organize their activities consistent with the culture, condition of the locality. Therefore, depending on actual situation, preschools shall organize logical period of time for dropping off children.

Age of preschool children in Vietnam

Pursuant to Article 32 of the preschool charter issued together with the Circular 52/2020/TT-BGDDT stipulating age and health of preschool children in Vietnam as follows:

- Children from 3 months old to 6 years old are eligible for preschools.

- Children with disabilities may attend school 3 years later than normal children.
