When is payment for tuition exemption and reduction in Vietnam made?

In Clause 9, Article 20 of Decree 81/2021/ND-CP, there is a regulation on policies on tuition reduction, exemption, studying cost financing, and tuition financing in Vietnam, as follows:

9. Expenditure on tuition reduction, exemption, and tuition financing shall be granted depending on actual learning period but no more than 9 months/school year for preschool children, students pursuing formal education, and students in continuous education institutions and 10 months/school year for students learning in vocational education institutions and higher education institutions, and be made twice per year at the beginning of each semester.

Thus, according to the above-mentioned regulations in Vietnam, the payment of tuition exemption and reduction for students is made at educational institutions twice a year, specifically at the beginning of the semesters of the school year.
