Employees' licenses to operate aviation equipment or vehicles in restricted areas of airports and aerodromes in Vietnam

Pursuant to Article 82 of the Circular 29/2021/TT-BGTVT (takes effect from 15/01/2022) stipulating employees' licenses to operate aviation equipment or vehicles in restricted areas of airports and aerodromes in Vietnam as follows:

Contents of an employee's license to operate aviation equipment or vehicle in restricted areas of an airport or aerodrome in Vietnam

- Country’s official name;

- Licensing authority;

- License’s name;

- License number;

- Date of issue and date of expiry of the license;

- Full name, date of birth and sex of the license holder;

- Workplace;

- Scope of operation;

- Date of issue of rating;

- Rating;

- License regulations;

- Signature and seal of the licensing authority or QR code in case of using QR code;

- Photo of the license holder.

Form of the employee's license to operate aviation equipment or vehicles in restricted areas of an airport or aerodrome is provided in the Form No. 04 in the Appendix I hereof. The CAAV shall apply the form of the employee's license to operate aviation equipment or vehicles in restricted areas of an airport or aerodrome as prescribed in this Circular within 12 months from the effective date of this Circular.

Format of the employee's license to operate aviation equipment or vehicles in restricted areas of an airport or aerodrome in Vietnam

- The size is 85.60 mm in width, 53.98 mm in height and 0.76 mm in thickness;

- Photo of the license holder is printed on the license;

- The license is made of plastics.

Ratings for the personnel operating aviation equipment or vehicles in restricted areas of an airport or aerodrome are provided in the Appendix III hereof. During operation, if other ratings are required, the CAAV shall make a report to the Ministry of Transport for addition of ratings for the personnel operating aviation equipment or vehicles in restricted areas of an airport or aerodrome.
