How much fine does market controllers being on official duties have the right to sanction administrative violations in Vietnam? What document regulates this issue?

    • In Clause 1, Article 45 of the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations 2012, it is stipulated:

      Article 45. Competence of the Market Management Force

      1. The market controllers being on official duties shall have the rights to:

      a) Impose warning;

      b) Impose fines of up to VND 500,000.

      Thus, according to the above-mentioned regulations, market controllers being on official duties have the right to sanction administrative violations with a maximum fine of VND 500,000 in Vietnam.
