How much fine does Ranger Station chiefs have the right to sanction violations of forest exploitation in Vietnam? What document regulates this issue?

    • In Clause 2, Article 43 of the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations 2012 and Point k, Clause 73, Article 1 of the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations amending 2020 (Effective 01/01/2022), there is a provision:

      2. Ranger Station chiefs shall have the rights to:

      a) Impose warning;

      b) Impose fines of up to VND 10,000,000;

      c) Confiscate material evidences and/or means used for administrative violations, having a value not 2 times as much as the fine amount specified at point b of this clause;
